South Carolina Concealed Weapons Permit SC CWP

SLED's gun safety rules for a CWP

SLED (the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division) requires South Carolina CWP holders to know these four gun safety rules. Safety is our own foremost concern too. When you take our CWP/Basic Pistol class we explain and demonstrate each of these SC SLED gun safety rules. These SLED rules also are on the SLED written exam for the SC CWP. We want you to do well in that SC CWP exam because your score can matter. It's important for you to practice good gun safety in class and after the class is over.

When learning gun safety it's helpful to compare SLED's SC gun safety rules with the NRA gun safety rules
